How to Treat Under Eye Trough With Dermal Fillers
Undereye troughs are caused by a reduction of the volume in the area under the eye. As we age, the elasticity and thickness of tissue are reduced, causing the skin over the cheekbones to “slide down,” creating dark circles, wrinkles, and hollows, which can be resolved with carefully injected dermal fillers.
When will a filler be effective for undereye troughs?
The effectiveness of our injectables in Nigeria depends on the cause of the troughs. Fat pad bulges may be genetic or occur with the loss of collagen and elastin as you age. If this is the source of the troughs, a filler can be very effective. Our fillers act not only to rejuvenate the undereye area but have the added benefit of being a remarkable anti-aging technique.
What types of fillers are used?
There are several, but the most popular, especially for people who are new to the overall treatment, are hyaluronic based, as these are reversible. If you are wary and unsure about fillers, you have the option of the filler being dissolved.
At Flawless Aesthetic Center, we select the appropriate filler for you, which may be one of the family of fillers by:
