To treat moderate to severe frown lines, Dysport is injected into five points above and between each of the eyebrows. This temporarily prevents contraction of the muscles that cause frown lines, allowing the rest of the face to move naturally. In most cases, there is no recovery after Dysport used as an anti-wrinkle treatment. As small doses are administered using a very fine needle, the skin will have tiny punctures at the site of injections within the treatment areas of the face. You may experience slight tenderness or bruising in these areas, which may be covered with makeup before you return to your normal activities.
